Cookie Policy

Version 1.2 · Last updated: 11 June 2026 · Compliant with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended) and GDPR.

Short version. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics that profile you. That means we don't need to ask for your consent — but you can still clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. We also use similar technologies (local storage, session storage) for the same purposes; everything in this policy applies to those equally.

2. The cookies we use

NamePurposeDurationCategory
sb-access-tokenKeeps you signed in1 hour, rollingStrictly necessary
sb-refresh-tokenRenews your session without re-login7 daysStrictly necessary
ff_themeRemembers light/dark preference1 yearStrictly necessary
ff_csrfProtects against cross-site request forgerySessionStrictly necessary
ff_route_intentPreserves intended page through sign-in redirectsSessionStrictly necessary

3. What we do not use

  • No advertising or remarketing cookies.
  • No cross-site tracking pixels (Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn Insight, etc.).
  • No third-party analytics that profile individual users (no Google Analytics, no Hotjar).
  • No "dark patterns" or pre-ticked consent boxes — because we don't ask for consent.

We use a privacy-preserving server-side analytics tool (Plausible-style) that counts aggregated pageviews without setting cookies and without collecting personal data.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in. Browser help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

5. Do-Not-Track

Because we do not track you across sites in the first place, the DNT header is functionally redundant on our service. We honour it where it would apply.

6. Future changes

If we ever introduce optional cookies (for example a third-party live-chat or video embed), we will show a consent banner that lets you accept or reject before any non-essential cookies are set, and we will update this policy with at least 14 days notice.
